About Open Market
We have an extensive inventory of loose diamonds on hand we own that you can shop on our website or in person at one of our showroom locations. Open market stones are a selection of curated stones we offer that are available on the open market and we do not currently own. The availability of these stones is more limited.
How Custom Orders Work:
Find Your Stone
Select the stone you want us to use for your custom order by adding the stone to your cart and submitting payment for the deposit through our website.
We will reach out via email or phone after you have made the payment and will talk to you about what ideas you have in mind for your custom order.
Inspiration
If you have images you’ve saved of other rings you like or ideas you have in mind please share with us! We can make literally any setting you have in mind. A setting is the vessel made of platinum, 14k or 18k white, rose or yellow gold that holds the center stone, so any setting is possible. We can incorporate ideas from multiple rings if you have several things you like. Don’t be afraid to ask anything or to share any hand done sketches you have, we are very good at translating and helping polishing and forming designs.
Price Quotes
We will be able to provide pricing once we have the details of the setting (engagement ring style), gold type, and exact stone choice.
Mockup / CAD Render
If you’d like to see a CAD render of your custom design we can provide that to you. Typically it takes us about 7-14 business days. CAD renders take us several hours to complete because we make every setting from scratch and never use the same setting or file twice. Every stone we use is unique because it is cut by hand and no two ever have the same measurements. Because of this we have to build every setting from scratch with your stones specific measurements. Each CAD design costs $1200. The full deposit amount of $1200 will be applied to the final price of the ring. We will use $1200 of what you already paid for the stones deposit to cover the cost of the CAD render. If you choose to not move forward with the ring we keep $400 of the CAD deposit for our time spent making the CAD.
Example break down of cost:
Total price for completed ring we discussed: $7,000
Deposit you paid on stone: -$2,000
CAD fee applied: -$1,200
Total amount remaining to pay: $3,800
*If you choose to see CAD renders of multiple settings that are very different from one another then we keep $400 for every CAD we create and you do not move forward with.
Finalizing Order
Once you are happy with the CAD renders and want to move forward with the ring we will set up the listing for the final price of the ring. Once you have finished payment for the remaining balance of the ring we will add your order to our jewelers que and begin production on your piece.

Timeline
Once we have received full payment for the ring it take us 8 weeks to create on average depending on the complexity of the piece.
